I could not Afford a suit for My Wedding - Benue State Com. of Education
Benue State commissioner for education,science and technology Professor Dennis Ityavyar in a program held in Art Theatre Complex ( ATC ) Benue State University Makurdi by the Dean of faculty of Education Professor Gbenda Batu Laha.

For all male students of the faculty of Education spoke extensively about his background and his rise from grass to grace.
In his Tell-All Stories, He claimed that his parents never traveled beyond Gboko LGA and they were not able to read and write. He had no uniform (school clothes) when he was going to school, His parents could not afford his school fees. Above all, he could not afford a pair of suit for his wedding because he had no money but the story his different now. Speaking to Students, he encouraged them that they should be optimistic about success and avoid wrong things that will destroy them (quoting Psalms 37:7).
When asked by Students about what the government of the state is doing concerning Students' allowance, he claimed that some groups of people have been embezzling Students' money amounting to about 800,000,000 million naira but the government will do its best to apprehend the culprits and settle the students soon.
The DVC Prof. Joel Eriba speaking on behalf of the VC encouraged students not to allow the current hardship to wail them down.
Also, In attendance were HOD of Educational foundations Prof. Simon Akpakwu, HOD of P.H.E, HOD of C&T, HOD of Vocational and Technical Education, Lecturers, Non teaching staffs and Students.
