THANKGOD EZEANI, JOHNBOSCO OZIGBU AND OBINNA DURUAKU DRUM SUPPORT FOR SEN. SAMDADDY ANYANWU.
Three prominent sons of Orlu Zone in Imo State, Chief ThankGod Ezeani, Chief Johnbosco Ozigbu and Hon. Obinna Duruaku have expressed their support to the gubernatorial ambition of Senator Samuel Anyanwu.
They made their positions known while speaking at Sen. Samuel Anyanwu's consultative visit to leaders and delegates of PDP in Nwangele LGA which took place at Umukabia.
Chief Ezeani eulogized the sterling qualities of Sen. Anyanwu which he said have endeared him to most people in the State. He said it is only a phenomenal personality like Sen. Anyanwu that can command such large number of supporters just few months after he expressed interest to run for the exalted governorship position in the State.
The Orlu Zone Senatorial hopeful singled out Sen. Anyanwu's humility, accessibility and knack for performance as some of his selling points, and opined that such uncommon qualities are what PDP requires in a candidate that can win the general election for the party. He assured Sen. Anyanwu of the votes of Orlu Zone delegates.
In his speech, the apex leader of PDP in Nwangele, Chief Engr. Johnbosco Ozigbu emphasized that Sen. Samuel Anyanwu's attributes stand him out as a rare breed politician. He told the leaders and delegates of the party that Sen. Anyanwu does not engage in pull him down politics but is focused on telling the people what he will do for them when he becomes the governor.

Chief Ozigbu who is popularly called Ogwuaga Ogwuaga vowed to mobilized his friends and business associates across the State in ensuring that Sen. Anyanwu does not only win the primary election but also the general elections. "I know I have the capacity to mobilize my friends and associates to support you to victory, and I assure you, distinguished, that you will not only win the primary elections but you will also win the general elections" he said.
Also speaking, Hon Obinna Duruaku (BBC) noted that Nwangele Local Government has collapsed for Sen. Anyanwu. He stated that the goodwill of the vibrant senator has positioned him as the best candidate of the party that can wrestle power from the oppressive APC government and advised the delegates not to be deceived.
In his speech earlier, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu told the PDP leaders and delegates that he is in Nwangele to solicit for their votes. He insisted that nobody is owning him because their votes are their rights, but he has only come to beg them because the party needs a generally acceptable candidate to win the government in power now that PDP is in opposition.
"If you give me your votes, I will ensure that our dear party wins the general elections because I have not lost election before. I know the challenges confronting Nwangele which are bad roads and youth unemployment and I promise you here today that together we are going to fix these problems" he said.
Other leaders at the consultative visit include Chief Ezekiel Chukwukere (I know this man), Prince Akano, Hon. Barr Mrs. Oyibo Nwaneri mni, Hon. Bonny Ebili, among others.
