Re: Obande Blast CSO’s Who Indicted Sen. Nwaoboshi As Master-minder Of Hausa Killings

Re: Press Conference Addressed By Richard Iyalla, National Leader, Coalition of Human Rights and Good Governance (CHRGG) on the Incessant Killings of Innocent Nigerians in Ibusa Delta State in 2013. Being Held on 16 June, 2017 at Top Rank Hotels, Utako, Abuja.
Protocols:
The continuous attempt by individuals and groups to continue the heinous act of violating the National Assembly and her members cannot only be seen as devilish but also as a desperate attempt by Mischief makers to demean our democracy. Most recently was the publication by one Richard Iwalla and his cohorts under the auspices of a coalition of civil society groups (Coalition of Human Right and Good Governance in a press conference recently held in Abuja on the 16 June, 2017) targeted at maligning the good image of Distinguished Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi of Delta North Senatorial zone. The office of the Minority Leader of the Nigerian Youth Parliament in Collaboration with the Youth League Nigeria wish to state as follows; We condemn in strong term the use of civil society platforms to malign and assassinate the character of eminent Nigerians and law abiding citizens. We wish to condemn in strong term the use of the civil society community to incite the public as Nigeria have been through a lot in the area of security in recent times. The assertion therefore that Distinguished Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi was indicted in masterminding the killings of people from the (Hausa) extraction is not only evil but a blatant lie as he is a Nigerian full of integrity. That the supposed 20 June, 2013 killing that lead to the death of an Okada rider (Zikara Saswad) cannot be said to have been orchestrated by Sen Peter Nwaoboshi who is known to be an upright Nigerian and a lover of all. Moreover, that if the court as acclaimed in the press statement have remanded the Suspect (one Uba Nonso) at the Ugwashi-Uku medium prison awaiting trial; it is in the prerogative of the court to convict the suspect if found guilty and all accomplices. That it is an aberration to pre-empt the judgement of the court and speak in a negative light as it borders on the integrity of the judiciary and the Nigerian Police Force. We consider the aforementioned press statement as vindictive and mischievous and call onRichard Iyalla and his cohorts to substantiate their claims within seven Working days or face legal action as we are dedicated to defending all institutions of democracy and law abiding citizens at all cost. We wish to state that the actions of Richard Iyalla and his cohorts are repugnant to natural justice, equity and good conscience and advise the public to be ware of unreasonable elements and charlatans of this nature. We wish to restate our commitment to promoting peace and unity as stake holders of the greater Nigerian Project. God Bless you. !God bless Nigeria!
