The expectation of every well-meaning indigene of Imo State is to have Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu (a.k.a Samdaddy), the Senator representing Imo East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, become the Governor of the State in the 2019 elections.
This was made obvious in Abuja on Friday, June 8, 2018 by the social media team of the Ikeduru-born Senator, stating that the numerous achievements of Senator SamDaddy and his grassroot mobilization strategy remain unparalleled and will attest to his success at the polls.
“Senator Sam Daddy is the most favoured aspirant in the forthcoming Imo State Gubernatorial Election in 2019. He is a grassroot mobilizer, an achiever and the only aspirant that has uplifted the living conditions of his people using the instrumentality of his offices”, the group said.
According to the team, “Imolites and indeed all Nigerians would recall that Senator SamDaddy, amongst other laudable achievements, was able to attract federal government's attention to the abandoned Amamo-Mbaise Road in Imo State. This road is today under construction because of the efforts of Senator Samuel Anyanwu (AKA-Sam Daddy)”.
It then called on all Imolites at home and abroad to come out enmass in 2019 and vote for Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu (SAM DADDY) as Governor of Imo State, urging them to ensure they enrolled for their voters cards since it was the only power the people had to vote in good governance.
