Chelsea Striker Diego Costa on Conte, Mourinho bust-up: Lucky I wasn't involved!

Chelsea striker Diego Costa wasn’t surprised to see manager Antonio Conte square up to Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho.

The pair clashed several times during Chelsea’s FA Cup win on Monday.

Indeed, they failed to shake hands at the final whistle.

Costa said: “Everyone knows how Conte and Mourinho are, both have a strong personality and when two people tackle each other this happens.

“Fortunately I was not nearby, otherwise I would have put myself in the middle of them!”
