Did Ultimate Cycler Nigeria Scheme Really Crashed? Find out Here

The past couple of days has been a difficult one for the Ponzi scheme community in Nigeria, not just for ultimate cycler participants but also to other sister schemes like MMM Nigeria, i-charity and a lot of other emerging platforms. The panic came following a technical downtime of perhaps the most popular ponzi scheme in Nigeria, the ultimate cycler which resulted to a “crash of the site ultimatecycler.com”.
When the downtime started in early hours of Friday, there were efforts by the developers of the website to bring it back online as the portal was observed to be going on and off.
Subsequently founder Peter Wolfing cleared the air with a statement addressing the situation.
The statement reads:
At Ultimate Cycler we are introducing our global commitment over the next few days to provide each country we serve even greater value. As you know we are now having more than 100,000 to 200,000 thousand new members daily and have a large percentage of the new subscribers from Nigeria.
Therefore we are doing the following ASAP over the next few days to ensure our global commitment will impact each and every Ultimate Cycler subscriber no matter where you live in the world.
1.  We are adding an additional income source
2.  Providing a new design and layout
3.  During Q1 registering Ultimate Cycler in Nigeria with an Office and legal presence.
4.  Will offer life time admin fee to avoid different charges throughout the year.
5.  An amazing Christmas income opportunity the everyone can participate in.
Please be sure to check your inbox for more details as we get closer and my next update.
Thank you,

From the technical point of view, when a website receives such a huge hit of 100,000 to 200,000 registration on daily basis, it is possible for server resources to hit a limit which will eventually lead to downtime. Speaking of high impact traffic, there has been many times government websites crashed during the cause of job recruitment application when millions attempt to sign up at a time.
For example, earlier this year in April, the police recruitment portals psc.gov.ng npf.gov.ng crashed 24hours after opening for application, at that time only about 8,000 applications were received. The-same happened during the N-Power application, the website for the N-Power program, npower.gov.ng witnessed a technical error few minutes after the portal opened for application. Also during the job application for civil service recruitment exercise the portal witnessed some technical issues. These scenarios paint a picture of a more aggressive internet penetration in Nigeria.
From the above occurrences at different times, it is possible that user behaviors of Nigerians on the web is consistent with what is currently happening to Ultimate Cycler. Therefore from a technical point of view, it is possible that the website will soon be back online.
Has the Ultimate Cycler scheme crashed?
The fact that the website is down at this time does not mean that the scheme itself has crashed as reported by many online media. According to the statement by founder Peter Wolfing, Ultimate Cycler team are introducing our global commitment over the next few days to provide each country we serve even greater value. As you know we are now having more than 100,000 to 200,000 thousand new members daily and have a large percentage of the new subscribers from Nigeria.
Peter Wolfing also talked about establishing the scheme with a legal presence in Nigeria, meaning it is possible when they are back online moves will be made to register with Nigerian government in order to operate legally in Nigeria.
The statement also shows that more features and a redesign of the portal is ongoing.
