Robbery Attack in BSUTH Keeps A Doctor In Critical Condition

A suspected robbery attack in the early hours of Wednesday at the doctors quarter of Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi has left one doctor critically injured. 

According to reports, the robbers who were armed with machetes stormed the doctors quarters which is located behind the teaching hospital at about 1am. 
“We were hearing shouts but didn’t know what was happening. Later when the police arrived, we learnt one of our colleagues was attacked” said a Doctor who claimed anonymity. 
It was gathered that the attacked victim, one Dr Wandoo Yuwa sustained machete cuts on the head and face, and is under intensive care. 
Efforts to contact Benue police spokesman, ASP Moses Yamu proved abortive.
