New Information Arising From Benue State University, Makurdi

For almost a month now, normal school activities in the school has been on standby, the school was initially slated for resumption 11th April, 2016 (fresh students) and 17th April, 2016 (Returning students). students were prepared and eager to resume school activities on campus until the sudden increase in school fees, a close source revealed to Jeezitainment.blogspot.com that acceptance fee was increased from N5,500 to N22,000.


yesterday being 27th April, a meeting was held between the student union (SU) and the school management, but the meeting was not positive as the management insisted that there shall be no reduction whatsoever, the VC Prof. Msugh Kembe said that the school is now an independent entity and shall be funded with only funds generated by the university. he further urged that normal school activities should commence immediately and also fresh students should pay the fees and proceed for screening.

the school however is still scanty as students have refused to resume. A reporter from Jeezitainment.blogspot.com was able to interview some students who are so sober about to the whole situation,

Mr. Ugbanah a final year student lamented the the increment is a good idea but was however coming at the wrong time because, parents salaries have not been paid since December, so where do they expect them to get money in paying their wards fees.

Mc. Kris a popular comedian in the school,reveal to  jeezitainment.blogspot.com that this incident has already set the school backward, he said BSU is known to have the best academic calendar in the country, but now students have to spend 5months on each semester, my question now is why?
